Inspired by the Christian hymn A Mighty Fortress Is Our God by Martin Luther which he based on Psalm 46. The embroidery pairs the hymn’s opening words with a depiction of Wartburg Castle in Germany, where Martin Luther found refuge in 1521. It serves as a reminder to take refuge in the Lord, as Psalm 46:1 reads 'God is our refuge and strength.'
Materials + Care
T-Shirts: 100% cotton. Sweatshirts: 50/50 polyester-cotton blend. All items feature polyester thread with stabilizers necessary for the embroidery process and a comfortable cotton backing to prevent discomfort.
Care Instructions:
• Machine wash cold
• Lay flat to dry for best results; tumble dry low is also acceptable
• Iron inside out on a cooler setting as needed
• Do not directly iron the design
